Classical Pilates MENTORSHIP 2026
Apparatus Repertoire: led by Boditree founder & owner, Risa Mathews, MA
Sundays: 12:00-4:00pm
Train to learn the full repertoire as the method was originally intended to be experienced. No modifications, name changes, or corruption of equipment, only the precise positioning, execution, and mastery, to ensure complete comprehension and skill. When you learn the work right, there is no need for retraining. Teaching Pilates is not about teaching anatomy, it is teaching a repertoire that has been tried and tested by the inventor, Joseph H. Pilates, and in turn, transforms students in under an hour.
Eliminate the guesswork and silly explanations and simply learn the work right! That is our guarantee at Boditree. All levels of fitness are welcome. We don’t change the work, we change where you experience it, which is why there is so much apparatus to choose from! THIS is Classical Pilates!

Classical Pilates Matwork Teacher Training

Saturdays: 3:00-6:00pm
Sundays: 12:00-4:00pm
Pilates Matwork is the foundation of Pilates education, the source that connects all the apparatus within the system. When you study with Boditree, we teach the precision of movement, breath, and rhythm, which when learned with diligence, promises transformation. First the student learns the work, then they learn how to teach others. This is the basis from which the best teachers are built: experientially. Join Boditree and learn authentic Pilates, so you can teach it how it was meant to be: Contrology!
Location: Boditree Pilates & Healing or Online via Zoom; all classes recorded.
2 private sessions with Boditree Founder & Owner, Risa Mathews are included in this course of study.
